A random entry, I guess?
Today was.. refreshing. I had a day off, one of the only breaks I've had recently. College is a new experience - different from how school was like - and I find that it is a welcome change. I really love my relaxed schedule, and I really need to get myself reacquainted with relaxation. I haven't really relaxed much in recent years, although most adults would say otherwise. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, I guess.
Oh, and I've started exercising again. It felt amazing, regardless of my protesting muscles. I don't know. I just hate getting up and sweating, but when I'm done, the feeling is amazing. It's like completing an all-important examination, or completing a tough assignment. It feels better, though. It's that emotion you get when you've done something right for you, something that you will come to appreciate both now and in the future. And I love it.
For the select few who frequent my blog, I'm sure you've noticed my lack of '...'s, which are usually liberally placed within my sentences. I'm trying to use 'proper' English now, and believe me, it's really giving me a hard time. How do people write like this every single day? It's annoying, really. My sentences seem forced. :(
I really need to start writing things! I haven't written anything of significance in the last, oh, few months or so. The creative writer in me has been screaming for me to let him out, but since I currently lack inspiration he's just sitting quietly in a corner somewhere. Anyway, I really should write something soon. Right now we're doing academic writing, and honestly, it can be quite stifling. The objectivity of academic writing is something new; I haven't really had to endure such things in the past. Before this, I could write my heart out and I'd get an A for it. Not anymore, it seems. Right now, we have to write mature, structured, and well-planned essays. I'm all for writing a good piece of work, but I'm one of those people who never plan an essay in advance. I guess I'll have to learn how to do research. And the worst part is, I really have to learn how to write academic essays properly, since I'll be in college and uni for the next few years. :( Maybe I'll write a work of fantasy during my free time....
I guess that's all for now. I don't really have much to say this time around. The day has been relaxing, so I don't really want to have an intense mental discussion with myself today.
So, au revoir.
